A BAND CAN'T JUST SIT AROUND
Combining pacy alt/rock attitude and fiery vocals, Walken's debut EP 'Current Melbourne Temperature' is receiving great reviews from both critics and fans. They're set to raise eyebrows (and moustaches) again with their first ever video clip for the single 'Blue Sky' (recently voted #1 on 90.7 SYN FM's The Hoist). Based on the famous maiden flight of Larry Walters - 'the lawn chair man', the video has been a labour of love for the band over the past year - so now it's time to party! The big launch happens Thursday November 18th at The Evelyn Hotel (Brunswick St, Fitzroy). Special guest supports on the night include the amazing twisted rock of Meebar, the blissful regge-shred of The Suns and the dark drama of Shadowplay. $8 entry, doors open 8:00pm.
